After graduating from Indiana University in May 1973, Greg began his career with a large local firm in the Fort Wayne area. After working several years with this firm, Greg ventured out into the accounting profession forming Mannia & Ryan, CPAs in October, 1980. After acquiring his partner’s interest in late 1986, Greg formed, with Greg Green, the firm of Mannia Green, LLP. This firm was organized January 1, 1987 and has grown with great success in the Fort Wayne community.
Aside from performing the traditional accounting and tax services, Greg has developed other areas of expertise and specialties to compliment these traditional services. Greg has provided business valuation services since 1984, and during early 1995 earned the designation of certified valuation analyst (CVA). This is a designation that was earned through the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) acknowledging Greg’s expertise in the area of performing business valuations. During his many years of working with small and medium-sized businesses and their owners, Greg has developed other areas of expertise including business acquisition and sale planning and assistance, succession planning and general business advisory services.
Greg and his wife Donna have two children, Nicole and Scott. The family is very active and both Greg and Donna enjoy playing golf. Nicki is currently attending Indiana University majoring in psychology and intends on obtaining her Masters. Scotty is currently attending Ivy Tech with an interest in the automotive area.
Greg is an avid IU fan. Greg has been active in various business and civic groups in the Fort Wayne area over the years. He founded The Directors, which is a business development group that meets weekly and celebrated its 25th anniversary during 2006. He is a former board member with the Easter Seals, ARC of Northeast Indiana the ARC Foundation, Inc., YMCA board member and finance committee member, as well as Orchard Ridge Country Club. He also has been active in the St. Joseph Church parish having served on the finance committee for many years and has participated in the CEO roundtable program sponsored by the Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce.
