Kathleen Bailey, CPA

Kathy Bailey started in public accounting in 1987 as a seasonal employee with a focus on individual and personal property tax. In 1998 she began full-time employment as a member of a manufacturing tax team where she continued working with individuals and began concentrating more on corporate and partnership taxation.

In 2000, Kathy decided to venture into the corporate world and worked with DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc. in the tax department and worldwide financial reporting. This corporate experience provided additional corporate federal tax, extensive multi-state tax, property tax and sales tax experience and an opportunity to work in a large finance department. Kathy believes these experiences have helped her gain not only valuable tax experience, but also, additional insight into everyday life and/or challenges experienced by her clients.

Kathy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Indiana CPA Society and a board member of Zanesville United Brethren in Christ Church where she has taught Junior Church for more than 20 years. Kathy and her husband Jim have enjoyed ballroom dancing for over 10 years and love to travel when they get the chance.
